Who we are

Gargar Charity e. V. is a community-based organisation founded by Fatuma Nabosu and Dieter Hanke with the help of some professional friends.

Gargar Charity Project comprises of women and men with different careers and professional background coming together with the purpose of mentoring women and girls both here in Germany and in Kenya. The main objective is to empower women to participate and contribute to development. We role model, mentor and guide young girls in schools, colleges and Universities by advocating the rights of girls and women, especially those from Northern Kenya. We are determined to help women and girls to rise above their circumstances (in order to) reach their fullest potential both academically and socially.
