July 2022 – We have achieved a lot !!!
The school has been inaugurated !!!
On July 30, 2022, we officially opened our school and our girls’ protection center. The inauguration ceremony was attended by guests from across Marsabit County, including the First Lady of Marsabit, Alamitu Guyo, the County Education Officer, Baisha Galgithele, and other government officials. Our main sponsor Gisela Hoffman had traveled from Germany for the occasion. It was a wonderful ceremony as we celebrated this major milestone, and we would like to thank everyone who has supported us. Everyone has joined forces to ensure that our northern Kenyan shepherd girls receive a good education. This is the only way to achieve equality, prevent poverty, female genital mutilation, early marriage, child labor, violence against women and other harmful cultural practices that affect girls’ rights.
